Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using XO Report ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

XO Report is an Excel add-in that connects to Xero accounting software to pull financial data into Excel spreadsheets. The Service requires a valid Xero account and an active XO Report subscription after the trial period.

3. Account Registration

To use XO Report, you must authenticate with your Xero account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

4. Subscription and Payment

Free Trial

New users receive a 14-day free trial with access to up to 3 Xero organizations. No credit card is required for the trial.

Paid Subscriptions

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly
  • Payments are processed securely via Stripe
  • You may cancel at any time; service continues until the end of the billing period

Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all plans. If you are not satisfied with XO Report for any reason, contact us at support@xo-report.com within 30 days of any payment and we will issue a full refund, no questions asked.

  • Refund requests must be made within 30 days of the charge
  • Refunds are processed back to the original payment method via Stripe
  • Refunds typically appear within 5-10 business days

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal or by emailing support@xo-report.com. Upon cancellation:

  • Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
  • You will not be charged again after cancellation
  • Your Xero connection and data access will stop at the end of the billing period

Price Changes

We may change our prices with 30 days notice. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price change affects their subscription.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Use automated scripts to excessively call our APIs
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without permission
  • Use the Service in a way that violates Xero's terms of service

Fair Use Policy

To ensure service quality for all users, we reserve the right to limit accounts with excessive API usage (more than 500 MB data transfer per organization per month). We will notify you before taking any action.

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using XO Report, you consent to the collection and use of data as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

XO Report and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Third-Party Services

XO Report integrates with Xero and Microsoft Excel. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for the availability or functionality of third-party services.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.

While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that data retrieved from Xero will be error-free. You should always verify critical financial data against your Xero dashboard.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason with notice. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
